AnCoBa is nitrite-free, colourless VCI Masterbatch (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitors) for the production of corrosion protection films. VCI substances are incorporated in the masterbatch in highly concentrated form in LDPE.
The corrosion protection film produced with AnCoBa continually releases minute quantities of active substances into the air of the packaging and therefore also protects the metal surfaces that have no direct contact to the film. The build-up of the protective atmosphere can take several hours, depending on the volume of the packaging.
Corrosion protection film offers optimal safety during storage or transport of metal goods. The advantages of corrosion protection film is, apart from simple handling when packing and unpacking, are transparency and the immediate use of the packed metal components.
